Consulting Teams - One consulting team, consisting of a registered pharmacist and a registered nurse, is assigned to each facility. That means continuity...you won't have to re-adjust to a new face every time you have a concern.
Drug Regimen Reviews - We regularly complete med passes, med reviews, med room inspections and drug regimen reviews to help keep you in compliance. Our monthly reviews are always scheduled so that they best accommodate you and your needs.
Physician Orders - Each month, our consultants verify that all physicians' orders have been properly written and transcribed and that all drugs have been ordered correctly.
Lap Top Computers - Our drug regimen reviews and medication storage surveys are prepared with lap top computers. All findings are printed on Omnicare HealthCare Systems letterhead-resulting in significantly higher responses from physicians.
Emergency/Convenience Boxes - Our consultants check your emergency and convenience boxes each month to make sure they are intact and that all medications have valid expiration dates.
Quarterly Meetings/Quarterly Reports - We attend quarterly Quality Assurance meetings, at which we point out problems and any findings for that quarter, all intended to help keep you in compliance. Our quarterly reports will summarize for you all findings that have not yet been resolved.
In-Services - We perform in-services at your request. We assist nurses by providing them with the latest information about new drugs and techniques, as well as new regulations, to make sure they remain informed.
